Chuck Piazza, senior vice president of West IP Communications, has been named to the 2013 Channel Chiefs list by CRN Magazine. Chuck Piazza has more than 18 years of sales leadership experience in the telecommunications industry. He currently serves as Senior Vice President for West IP Communications, where he has led the channel sales organizations for more than seven years. Piazza manages all aspects of West IP’s client acquisition efforts through the channel — and the ongoing development and support of West IP’s partner channel. Prior to joining West IP in 2005, Piazza held senior-level positions in direct and indirect sales with Lightyear Network Solutions, LLC. As Director of Sales and Business Development at Lightyear Network Solutions, Piazza played a key role in strategic growth and development of numerous direct sales offices in the country’s northeast region. In addition, he was responsible for driving robust nationwide agent activity while promoting the company’s business strategies.
Piazza’s reputation has been built on his ability to keep his word, even at the expense of a sale. To become a trusted partner, he has put the needs of their customers first and foremost. Piazza’s mantra for his channel team is to do what they say they will do, and do it all aboveboard. Piazza feels that differentiating yourself within the channel is the best way to gain traction, revenue and respect.
